Welcome to Borderline Bed and Breakfast!
Hi! We're Jon, Chris & Ruger Wakem.
We've relocated to Eureka, Montana from the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, where we prevously owned 2 bed and breaksfasts. We thoroughly enjoy the hospitality industry and we look forward to sharing what the Lincoln County has to offer with you.
Jon recently retired after working in Alaska for 33 years, and was a firefighter and EMT for 22 years. An avid fisherman and outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog exploring all that Montana has to offer.
Chris has worked in the nursing industry for over 26 years in both Canada and the USA. Working as a traveling nurse has allowed her to meet many individuals from all over the world, and led to her passion of being a host in the hospitality industry.
Ruger, our yellow Lab, is 8 years old. He is full of love and energy, and his most favorite thing to do is play ball. He too enjoys company. Ruger does live in the house with us and he will be a part of your visit when you are here at Borderline.
Just minutes from the Rooseville border, we're nestled in the heart of the Tobacco Valley, with stunning mountain views. Our Bed & Breakfast is a uniquely deigned home, featuring two bright and clean guest rooms (each with private bathrooms), a large common area, an outdoor seating area and a fire pit. There is plenty to see and do in our area including fishing, boating, golfing, horse back riding, hiking, biking, ATVing and shopping in the unique shops of Historic Downtown Eureka. Eureka is home to a number of stunning lakes including Lake Koocanusa. All of these are within minutes of our location.
We are conveniently located just one hour south of Fernie, BC and one hour North of Kalispell/Whitefish, Montana providing you easy access to world class skiing and snowboarding activities in the winter months.
